Description david.glennie 2010-01-09 00:01:11 UTC
Version: (using Devel)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

Using konversation on my Asus EEE 901, I am unable to view or edit all of the options dialogues as most expand beyond the screen confines. The dialogues cannot be resized and do not appear to support scrolling.

The EEE 901 has an 8.9" screen with a resolution of 1024x600.

This restricts the usefulness of konversation on a netbook screen. The main user interface is not affected by this issue.

Yep, this is being worked on at the moment. Until we fix it, you can drag windows around with Alt + Left Mouse, that allows you to use a location not on the title bar as drag anchor and move windows over the screen's top edge to get at the lower options. Sorry for the hassle.

My apologies if I've duplicated, I searched prior to posting.

The alt-left click drag method works perfectly, thanks for the advice :)

Which version is this about? Is this still valid for Konversation 1.5 RC1?
Comment 5 Eike Hein 2013-04-14 17:45:44 UTC
This is still an issue for as long as the config dialog isn't replaced unfortunately.
