This crash looks like the one being tracked at bug 199375.
- Have you tried to repeat the situation the check if KMail crash again ? If it does, could you give us steps to test ?

Have you installed package kdepim4-runtime?
If not and it is fixed then it is a possible duplicate from #220006.

Kdepim4-runtime is installed. Kmail does not crash again when closing the dialoge

Just to clarify, kdepim4-runtime was also installed when the crash happened! Sorry for the unclear wording.

Please mark it as a duplicate again if I misunderstood you.
