What I was doing when the application crashed:
Nothing special: after closing Kontact, it crashed. I've opened it again, and now it runs fine. I closed it again and it did not crash at this time. Maybe there's some correlation with the amount of time it's been opened? (on the first crash, Kontact had been open for over a week).
