Description bzb.dev001 2009-12-20 22:25:21 UTC
Version: okular v0.9.1, pdf backend v0.2.1 (using KDE 4.3.1)
Compiler: gcc (SUSE Linux) 4.4.1 [gcc-4_4-branch revision 150839]
OS: Linux
Installed from: openSUSE RPMs

permit persistent configuration of review/annotations tools from Tools>Review

Take for example, the Cyan Ellipse tool. when user configures the tool to use rectangle rather than the default ellipse or changing the opacity, the settings does not remain for subsequent use of this tool.

suggested feature:
under the menu Settings>Configure Okular, there should be an option that permits users to configure all review tools. These settings should remain throughout. In addition, there should be a 'default' button that would allow the review/annotation tools to return to their factory default settings.

It'd be fine if the user could add several buttons with the same tool but configured differently. When reviewing stuff for a student I mark text in different colors dependant on the problem (typo, citation needed, wrong assumption, etc.) and always have to mark and afterwards change the color manually which is very time consuming.
