(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: kmail Version: KDE 2.1.0 Severity: wishlist Installed from: Debian Package 4:2.1.0-1 (testing/unstable) Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010219 (prerelease) OS: Linux 2.4.1 i686 OS/Compiler notes: The color quoting is a little stupid. If you have only the quoting char at the first char then it works (eg the line looks like: > Quoted Text > > Second Level But if you have the better quoting Format with the First Letter of the Writers Name than it wont work. The Line looks like: JJ> Quoted Text RM>> Another Text (Submitted via bugs.kde.org) (Called from KBugReport dialog. Fields E-Mail manually changed)
FIX IT, PLEASE
also http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=138642 fix both please.
I guess this can not be implemented in a secure way. I tried to do the same with the removal of the signature blocks, but finally I had to conform to RFC 3676, that says that the only possible quoting format is "spaces" and any number of >. Humans can see the pattern easily, but it not easy for a computer.
