Description Werner Meyer 2009-12-05 16:29:18 UTC
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #215129 +++

Version: 1.12.2 (using KDE 4.3.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: openSUSE RPMs

other things are lost / don't work also, e.G. signature
The setting in kmail-Identities is still there, but it doesn't work no more!
(The signature-file also still exists.)

in identities - signature, there is checked „attach signature“, from command-output from /usr/bin/signify.
(And signify works well in terminal!)
But kmail doesn't attach any signatures.

Maybe it is just a misplaced settings - problem.
Beside identities, there is in e-mail-editor a checkbox „automatically attach signature“, which obviously has to be checked too.
Thats not very clear, especially, as i didn't find any entry in the kmail-helpabout that...

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
