Description Werner Meyer 2009-11-18 16:07:06 UTC
Version: 1.12.2 (using KDE 4.3.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: openSUSE RPMs

I defined design for e-mail-list:
- I created new design, [btw - strange, that a new created design is called „Neues Design“ (new design), a copy of „Klassisch“ is called „Klassisch 2“ without possibility to rename while one can rename columns] - defined columns, ...

This worked for two days.
Today kmails opened with another design. The one I created don't exist anymore.

(Yesterday bug
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=184307
appeared.)

In which file these settings (e-mail-list-designs) are usually saved?

Btw - other things are lost / don't work also, e.G. signature
The setting in kmail-Identities is still there, but it doesn't work no more!
(The signature-file also still exists.)

Sounds as if your kmail configuration has been screwed in some way. I don't know why that happend - and without knowing that this is not fixeable.
I'm closing this for the time being. Don't mind the ugly word "invalid" - but I think if you have discovered a bug it is in configuration management. If you can provide further info on that, report back here or file a new bug.
