Version: 1.3 (using 4.3.2 (KDE 4.3.2), Debian packages) Compiler: cc OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.31-1-amd64 Hello I'm currently using a pair of limited keyboard and mouse, coming from a Macintosh. You have done a great work, because Dolphin is still usable with these simplified keyboard and one button mouse, even if one can't access the right click menu. My main concern is that one can't empty trash without a right click! I suggest to, at least, add a menu entry (like in kmail) for empty trash and to set a keyboard shortcut on it. I will send another bug report about some ideas to solve right-click issue.
Apple has done something very fancy here. If you hit Shift-Command-Delete then the trash gets deleted (you get a question if you want to clean the trash or not). It even has a second option Option-Shift-Command-Delete to empty the trash without asking you anything! So, how do we translate this to dolphin? We obviously don't have an "option" key. My suggestion would be to follow apple here. So if dolphin is active/open/has-focus then the following commands are usable: Meta-Shift-Delete - empty trash with asking Meta-Shift-Control-Delete - empty trash without asking The shortcuts from apple: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1343 What do you guys think about this?
