Version: 1.0.99 (using Devel) Installed from: Compiled sources When you open the wastebin in Dolphin, there is no visible item which permits you to empty it. There should be at least a link or button "Empty wastebin" in the sidebar and an entry in the menus.
Thanks for your input! Could you please explain a little bit more detailed what kind of "visible item" you want and where? E. g. do you want to have an entry in the toolbar etc. Currently Dolphin offers an "Empty Trash" item in the Places Panel (context menu) or when pressing the context menu inside the trash folder.
I had not noticed the item in the context menu. I expected a link or button in Dolphin's sidebar. Or a Firefox/Nautilus like top bar could be another possibility: http://philbull.googlepages.com/Screenshot-DeletedItems-FileBrowser.png
Ah, I understand. Thanks for the update! I've set the state to NEW, I'll have to think about this...

I would like to see this implemented in KDE as well. I'm running KDE 4.11.3 (openSuse 13.1). Thanks.
