Description dilnix 2009-11-26 01:36:40 UTC
Application that crashed: plasma-desktop
Version of the application: 0.3
KDE Version: 4.3.2 (KDE 4.3.2)
Qt Version: 4.5.3
Operating System: Linux 2.6.31.5-127.fc12.i686 i686
Distribution: "Fedora release 12 (Constantine)"

What I was doing when the application crashed:
During using NetworkManager I have 2 connection profiles: "System eth0"(simle LAN) and "ukrnet adsl"(require configured login/passwd). By default using "System eth0", and it is configured to be "autostart". So, when tried to poweroff and start with connected adsl modem (required for "ukrnet adsl") i had black screen. NetworkManager did not established connection to internet (cause "ukrnet adsl" is not "autostart" configured) and Plasma did not start so Crash Report Assistant started. I think some widjets require to be online for updating info (have installed few) so they asked for kdewallet and password to it... I gave and then pushed button "restart application" in bottom of Crash Report Assistant window & closed it. But it popups anew 1 time and button "restart application" did not help me anymore... I tried to logon to GNOME, reconfigured NetworkManager to make "ukrnet adsl" profile autostarting (instead of "System eth0") and then relogin into KDE... Crash Report Assistant for Plasma started only 1 time simultaneously with kdewallet request. In this situation after successful kdewalled start button "restart application" worked and Plasma started good =)
I just can't understand, is that NetworkManager flaw??? Or Plasma is asking more than necessary for itself??? Are you, my friends, have some ideas???
...sorry for my bad english & russian slang...
