Version: (using KDE 4.3.3) Installed from: openSUSE RPMs I found a small issue with the foldeview wallpaper. Did anyone think about, what happens if the desktop has to many icons? In KDE the icons are displayed right of the displa in an unreachable position. How to reproduce: 1. Set Wallpaper-plugin to folderview 2. Set it to a directory that has to many files to display on the desktop (eg /usr/bin). Now not all files are visible. My sugesstion: Make a scrollbar (horizontal or vertical) to scroll on the desktop.

still valid on kde 4.4.4
I am able to reproduce this on KDE 4.7.4 on Fedora 16. This might be related to bug 266949. (Assigning to component desktop since we don't have a separate component for the Folder View layout.)

This happens when the flow is set to "Top to bottom first, left-right or right-left second". It is absolutely unrelated to the bug 266949, as that one is about the containment applet positioning code, whereas this one is about the iconview and how it handles out-of-screen icons with regard to the different icon flows possible.

Hello! This bug report was filed for KDE Plasma 4, which reached end-of-support status in August 2015. KDE Plasma 5's desktop shell has been almost completely rewritten for better performance and usability, so it is likely that this bug is already resolved in Plasma 5. Accordingly, we hope you understand why we must close this bug report. If the issue described here is still present in KDE Plasma 5.12 or later, please feel free to open a new ticket in the "plasmashell" product after reading https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved/Bug_Reporting If you would like to get involved in KDE's bug triaging effort so that future mass bug closes like this are less likely, please read https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved#Bug_Triaging Thanks for your understanding!
