Version: 4.3.3 (using KDE 4.3.3) Compiler: gcc/g++ 4.4.1 OS: Linux Installed from: Ubuntu Packages Hi, I noticed that Konqueror doesn't display large pictures when the option 'Real Size' is chosen before the picture is totally loaded. How to reproduce this bug : 1. Find a preview of a large picture on a web page (e.g. this random picture from wikipedia : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:PanoMontBlancHDR_edit_1.jpg ) 2. Click on the picture to display it with full resolution 3. _While_ Konqueror loads the picture, right-click and choose 'Real Size' 4. The picture renders then totally black 5. If you right-click again and choose 'Zoom to Fit' wait that the picture gets re-sized and re-click 'Real Size' again afterwards, the picture is eventually correctly displayed This behaviour occurs with jpg, gif, png and svg files.
What viewer are you using (View -> View Mode)?
I use KHTML.
Ahh ! I forgot to say that I had already this issue with KDE 4.3.2.
@ Maksim Orlovich I only noticed today while investigating deeper this bug that I actually use the Gwenview kpart for displaying pictures. Sorry for misleading previous information.
Confirmed in KDE SC 4.3.90.
Still in 4.6.2.
I tried to reproduce the problem, but in step 3 and 4, nothing was rendered until the file had been fully downloaded, as described in bug 178419.
Thank you for the bug report. As this report hasn't seen any changes in 5 years or more, we ask if you can please confirm that the issue still persists. If this bug is no longer persisting or relevant please change the status to resolved.
Thank you for the bug report. Unfortunately we were not able to get to it yet. Can we ask you to please check if this is still an issue with Gwenview 25.08.0 (the latest released version)?
