Description Ilya Hegai 2009-10-14 11:01:52 UTC
Version: 1.12.2 (using KDE 4.3.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

after changing network - typical example is home/work wifi - kmail can't connect to it, it shows 0% in status progress bar, as a result I should quit kmail and reopen it again

I use wicd for roaming, if it helps

Kmail is not connecting to networks. It tries to contact mail servers and download mails. After having reconnected to a network it can happen that kmail cannot connect. Aborting the connection in the small progress window should do it - restarting kmail should not be necessary.
