Version: (using KDE 4.3.2) OS: Linux Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package I think the whole desktop effects > translucency configuration needs to be reworked. per window settings and right click options use a number based on a percentage. the slider is inconsistent (at the least it should be numbered) I'd personally prefer just to enter my percentage here as an integer like the per window advanced options. also you have a per menu options. it'd be better imo to have it go like this global default transparency then enable-able configurable subsections that can override the default. (note: some may be enabled by default.) this is how I'd do it... on a last note. what I think is more important than the rest of this... is a setting for the default transparency of all applications. I personally like 85% and have ended up setting each application I use on a per application. I honestly believe I should only have to override applications that I don't want as the default.
