Description marder 2009-10-04 14:15:41 UTC
Version: 2.0.0 "Mars Pathfinder" (using 4.3.1 (KDE 4.3.1), Debian packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.31-0.slh.1-sidux-amd64

Hi everybody,
I use krusader for nearly everything on my computer (including ftp) and I like it very much. In the windowsworld I used, until my complete change 2 years ago, "speedcommander". Which is very powerful tool. Please have a look at it!

So I would kindly like to ask for things (if possible):

1. If I switch with alt-shift-B to Spaltenansicht (in english rowview???), a lot of files are cut in view. I would like to have a more flexible rowsize, that automatically determines its size.
(look here: krusader: http://www.hoffmeister.it/krusader.jpg ; Speedcommander: http://myego.cz/img/filemanager/cmp_SpeedCommander.png)

2. Please could you add a aptional tree view, within one window, so that one windows could be seperated into treeview with (!) files (like a small konqueror)

3. Would it be possible to create Icons that could be configurable with paths (loke bookmars, but also as seperated Icons)? Look also at the link: http://www.hoffmeister.it/krusader.jpg

4. In former versions I could sort the fileview with shortcuts (for quickly finding the newest file oder the biggest file). Would it be possible to have this feature again, best not with the windowskey!

5. If I click on a folder, would it be possible to calculate it size automatically and show it in the usual line below?

Thanks for your time and thank you for a really good software!

Please split your wishes into separate reports, if still valid.

1.: see Bug 285150
2.: separate tree view implemented
4.: There are shortcuts, see Bug 108023
5.: You can set a shortcut for it.
