Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.1) Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package I'd like to see the behaviour from Total Commander, where you can set the order of the panes by ctrl-f3, ctrl-f4, ctrl-f5, ... Ctrl-F3 toggles sorting by name, Ctrl-F4 by extension, ... Ctrl-F6 by size, ... This should be the default shortkeys only of course. Thank you for a great program!

Do you mean they will get implemented, or are they just not recognized with me? (I'm using version 1.60 by the way). About other shortcut suggestions (apart from controlling the sorting/order) I don't have any at the moment.
Ok, Ctrl-F$NR is taken by "Switch to desktop". I can see that Meta-1 up to Meta-4 is being used now (at least in my krusaderui.rc file): <Action shortcut="Win+2" name="sort_by_extension"/> <Action shortcut="Win+4" name="sort_by_modified"/> <Action shortcut="Win+1" name="sort_by_name"/> <Action shortcut="Win+3" name="sort_by_size"/> However, this is used as a global shortcut by Amarok to change the rating of the currently playing track (and apparently gets ignored without Amarok not running). For what it's worth I have now assigned Alt-1 up to Alt-4 to the "Sort by ..." actions. I think the default should get changed to not interfere with global shortcuts of other (popular) KDE applications.

CTRL+[1-4] are free. We could use those(?)
I agree with this suggestion (Ctrl+[1-4]). Although e.g. on czech keyboard layout without numpad the numbers are accessible only with shift, so it would result to Ctrl+Shift+[1-4] but I still find it i good solution.
