Find message dialog box drop down does not have any date-time related parameters. So,I cannot find messages within a period of interest.

Yes, but it's a missing feature and not a bug ;-)
Comment 2 Parameshwara Bhat 2009-09-25 20:50:49 UTC
Not specifying it as a 'wish' is my bug!

Seriously speaking,do you think I can write my impressions of Kmail in comparison to Opera,Evolution,Thunderbird and what I think kmail needs to gain as a whole?Bugzilla is a little too restrictive for everything I want to bring in.I would like to share all my thoughts in a page or two with the developers.

Thanks.

Absolutely!

I think the best way is to write a mail to the mailing list:
kdepim-users@kde.org which is more user centric.
If you think it's more appropriate to write to the developers, use the list
kde-pim@kde.org
