If a notification appears when a menu opened from a plasmoid is open (including the traditional application launcher menu, the Quick Access browser and the popup menu of the desktop but not including the Kickoff menu and the Device notifier) the menu disappears. This is annoying if notifications appear frequentely (which is the case with Kopete notifications especially if status change notifications are enabled) and it is inconsistent from the user's perspective with the other menus which do not disappear and with the fact that when windows appear menus of an other application typically do not disappear.
