Description matej.magdolen 2009-09-03 22:07:10 UTC
Version: unknown (using 4.3.1 (KDE 4.3.1), Arch Linux)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.30-ARCH

FLAC files' playback ends too early when using Phonon with backend set to xine for sound output. For example in Amarok 2 circa 3 seconds are cut off when playing a single file. When Amarok plays a playlist of multiple FLAC files, only the end of the last file is missing. However, OSD notifications of all files in the playlist are displayed too early. The bug may be in xine Phonon backend implementation because it appears neither when the Phonon backend is set to GStreamer nor if FLAC files are played with a player that accesses to xine directly (like Kaffeine from KDE 3).

Merging with other similar cases in bug 197584. Thanks
