Version: (using KDE 4.3.0) OS: MS Windows Installed from: MS Windows This is the worst bug I've encountered. While attempting to download a .exe file, the OPEN option does not know "what application to open with" the default choice given is Konqueror, as such that option is chosen. Not only does that not allow said downloaded file to open correctly, but all .exe files throughout windows now try to open with Konqueror instead of trying to launch themselves. This is the second time I've encountered this bug and again will have to scower the internet to find a registry fix for this. (The first time was 4.2.x but I thought it was simply user error, but even this user error should not be allowed). Konqueror needs to "know" how to open .exe files in Windows.

I have the same problem on my other computer that I use to operate my Sherline cnc mill. Any patches for this? Let me know. bobhdus@sbcglobal.net Thanks
Confirmed in KDE SC 4.3.90, first konqueror suggests to open my .exe file with kwrite and after I press download and open it up when the download is finished it "examines" about 30 seconds and then tells me it is an executable and is not opened for security reasons.
