Hi, I can confirm that. that's really annoying. For me it's also not resized in the contact list (in the field shown on mouse-over). But most annoying is the size in the notifications. bye julian
Here, avatar are resized in contact list but no in notifications! In kde 4.4, all notification look too fat! Look at amarok one to see diff.

Seems to be fixed
kde 4.5.4 kopete v1.0.80 Bug still not fixed. Giant avatar (~4000x4000 pix) can cause https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12309 . A have a contact (his client - tkabber trunk version), with giant avatar - popup window takes a lot of RAM (150-200 mb) and freezes the system. Another contact has giant avatar too (his client pidgin 2.7.7) - popup window is ok, avatar is resized to 60x60 or something.
