Description Hans-J. Ullrich 2009-08-17 08:30:10 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.0)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

Dear maintainers,

I discovered, that okular does not switch the printer drviver (cups), from landscape to portrait.

Whatever I adjust in the settings-menu: okular is always printing in landscape mode. When I am using kpdf or any other pdf-viewer everything works o.k.

Please feel free to ask for more information.

Thank you for your help.

Best regards

Hans-J. Ullrich

I had the opposite problem, I get my PDF files printed in portrait, no matter how they look like.

A goo dexample is a 2-page paper model, and accompanying instructions at
http://custompaperpocketyachts.k-j-g.com/papermodels/index.html

I get the instructions printed in portrait all right, but the model itself, which is clearly a landscape layout, comes out as portrait too, with badly cropped sides.

Printing the model in from kpdf works fine, so I don't think it is a problem in my print subsystem.
