Version: (using KDE 4.2.1) Installed from: Fedora RPMs okular is printing everything in landscape mode, and seems to be asking for wrong paper sizes. If I then open with evince, it prints fine. rpm -q kdegraphics kdegraphics-4.2.1-3.fc10.x86_64 rpm -q poppler poppler-0.8.7-5.fc10.x86_64 poppler-0.8.7-5.fc10.i386 I have of course checked the settings when I try to print. It definitely says letter, and portrait. The only thing I used is duplex/long side. When printed it get landscape on legal size paper.
I can still confirm the issue with kde4.2.2 on Debian. The printer is a HP Deskjet 895 Cxi, if this helps.
Different page size is bug #185296. Also, a) is it doing portrait when choosing landscape and landscape when choosing portrait b) always using landscape ?
Neal, mind providing feedback for comment #2 ?
This report is now a bit old. As of kde 4.2, I was no longer noticing the portrait/landscape problem. I am having a 2 100% reproducible issues: 1. Always selects A4 paper instead of letter 2. Always selects short side duplex, no matter whether is select long side or no duplex This is in both cases printing to an hp 8100 office laser. Similar problem on hp color laser 5550. I've just updated to kde4.3, but will not be back to test for a week.
Go vote for http://bugreports.qt.nokia.com/browse/QTBUG-6471. It always prints A4 because of this QT bug. Try selecting the paper each time from Properties.

Is this still valid with a recent Okular version? I sadly have no printer and can't test right now.
User did not answer in a year, assume it works for him. If it still a valid bug please reopen.
I have similar problem. On one of my computers (the new one) okular prints only in letter size, on the other (the old one) it prints only in A4 size. I found no way to change it manually. Both computers are with opensuse 13.1, KDE 4.11.5 and Okular 0.17.5.
