Version: (using KDE 4.3.0) OS: Linux Installed from: Fedora RPMs Hi. Recently, I increased the number of my virtual desktops to 8. What was my surprise that I can't switch to desktop 8 after hitting Ctrl+F8 ... At first, I thought my system has frozen. Not true, I could move the mouse. So that I tried switching by clicking the switcher applet with mouse and it worked. Next I thought that my F8 key was broken. Not true ... I've found that I can switch to desktops 1-4 using Ctrl+F1 to F4, but not to 5-8 ... so ... let's check the shortcuts - yeah, only Ctrl+F1 to F4 is set, nothing more. So let's start adding the shortcuts Ctrl+F5 to F8 ... But I believe that this was working in KDE 3 - no need to set the shortcuts manually. So I'd find it nice to have all the Ctrl+F1 to Ctrl+F12 shortcuts preassigned to desktop switching. You don't change the number of desktops that often, but ... let's have it reserved, I do not know about any other common usage of these shortcuts, keeping it assigned can hardly make any harm.
