Version: (using KDE 4.3.0) Installed from: SuSE RPMs Official 4.3 Release, konqueror fails to remember prior file upload directory. For example, if I need to upload an attachment to bugs.kde.org, when I choose the browse for file button konqueror always dumps me into my $HOME directory instead of remembering the last upload directory. This is a huge pain when, for example, I need to upload 3-4 files from: /mnt/nirvana/srv/www/download/openSUSE/openSUSE_bugs/kde4/screenshots/ For every single file upload I have to start and /home/david and navigate all the way back to /mnt/nirvana/srv/www/download/openSUSE/openSUSE_bugs/kde4/screenshots/ KDE3 konqueror properly remembers the prior directory and uploading multiple files is as simple as clicking on browse, then clicking the file without having to navigate up and down eleven (11) directories every time. Let me know if you need me to send anything else. This is pretty self-explanatory, but it does leave you scratching your head wondering if konqueror will ever work right again... It's like konqueror has lost half its brain. See also: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=195808 https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=198073 https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=163533
Can you do a simple test? Try to open more files from kate, for example, does it remember the last used directory? Anyway I confirm this behaviour in konqueror on current trunk.
