Can you tell me what you did to reproduce? That is a weird crash. It's crashing on unload.
A Taskbar/kdelibs(netwininfo/kwindowsystem) causing a XIOError. Mh
It was normal desktop usage, but what specifically, I honestly don't know.

Reopening.. it is not the same crash.

From bug 217716: --- I believe I minimized a firefox window behind which was the "Weather Forecast" plasmoid.

this is the important bit: #16 0x00007f5e09bfb138 in KApplication::xioErrhandler (this=0x11705b0, dpy=0x11cf310) at /build/buildd/kde4libs-4.2.98a/kdeui/kernel/kapplication.cpp:408 #17 0x00007f5e0aa5b6e4 in _XIOError () from /usr/lib/libX11.so.6 #18 0x00007f5e0aa6323b in _XReply () from /usr/lib/libX11.so.6 #19 0x00007f5e0aa40246 in XGetWindowProperty () from /usr/lib/libX11.so.6 #20 0x00007f5e09d33519 in NETWinInfo::update (this=0x7fff13a45050, dirty_props=<value optimized out>) at /build/buildd/kde4libs-4.2.98a/kdeui/windowmanagement/netwm.cpp:3848
Just like with all the other _XIOError bugreports, this is either X server disconnecting (i.e. unlikely here), or a threading problem.

Setting status to confirmed.
Thank you for the crash reports. As it has been a while since this was reported, can you please test and confirm if this issue is still occurring or if this bug report can be marked as resolved. I have set the bug status to "needsinfo" pending your response, please change back to "reported" or "resolved/worksforme" when you respond, thank you.
Hi Justin, This appears to have been fixed at some point in the last *cough* 9 years.. ;-) All the best, Chris
