Description Georg Wittenburg 2009-07-22 12:35:19 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.96)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

In 4.3 RC2, the order of task manager items changes when switching between virtual desktops.

How to reproduce:
1) Switch task manager sorting to "manual".
2) Open two applications.
3) Change the order in the task manager by dragging one item to be in the other item's position; make sure the resulting order is _not_ alphabetically correct (from left to right, by the window titles).
4) Switch virtual desktop.
5) Switch back to original virtual desktop.
-> The order of the task manager items has changed to an alphabetically correct ordering.

Confirmed.
Comment 2 Daniel Nicoletti 2009-08-05 19:17:23 UTC
I can confirm this too and iirc I had this since 4.1, (4.2 for sure).
IMO this should be high priority.
