Version:           2.3.0 (using KDE 4.2.96)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages

I find it funny that I can preview raw images in e.g. dolphin, but neither display nor preview them in Gwenview.

But it displays psd files.

Please make Gwenview display raw files if it's not too much trouble.

Gwenview uses Qt and KDE image loaders. Adding support for a new format should be done in kimgio.

I agree. You can use kipi-functionality for this. Settings for RAW display should be configurable in systemsettings, I think.

Hi,

kdelibs (version 4 and earlier) is no longer maintained since a few years.

KDE Frameworks 5 or 6 might already have implemented this wish.

If not, please re-open against the matching framework if feasible or against the application that shows the issue.

We then can still dispatch it to the right Bugzilla product or component.

Just in case, in "KDE 5" gwenview can show raw files.
