- Is your Phonon version updated ? (which version is it) - Can you reproduce the crash at will? /Identify which MP3 caused the crash ? Bug 191366 / bug 183597 could be related (similar trace after the XIO error) Thanks
it's compiled from today's trunk, and nope, i cannot reproduce when I want, it's completely random. happened when I tried to open one of my favorite songs, then I repoened it and the sound worked.
What version of glibc do you have? (run /lib/libc.so.6 in konsole) When running JuK, is the MALLOC_CHECK_ environment variable set? (You can check by opening konsole and running set | grep MALLOC_CHECK_ ) You use Xine, so does the bug go away by running juk like this: (again from konsole, run "QT_NO_GLIB=1 juk". This should make crashes go away with or without MALLOC_CHECK_ being set)? If so, how about running JuK doing the following? (again from konsole, run "unset MALLOC_CHECK_ ; juk") You should still get no crashes. What I use to test is to click next track as rapidly as possible, I can usually force the crash after no more than 10 songs. Remember you have to exit JuK before you can run it again.
