Description ietc 2009-07-16 02:24:55 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.96)
OS: Linux
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

By setting the (taskbar) Task Manager's sorting to be done "Manually," I can drag and drop the items to arbitrarily order them however I want. However, when I switch from one virtual desktop to another, the items (of either desktop: I "only show tasks from the current desktop") are rearranged by the widget. Sometimes I notice that my entries have been rearranged even without my switching virtual desktops.

I cannot really tell what the widget is trying to sort the tasks by. It does not appear to be the order in which they were opened and it certainly is not being done alphabetically by program name.

Curses, my search-fu never finds what I'm looking for until it's too late.
