Description Michael Tils 2009-07-14 09:52:44 UTC
Version: 4.2.4 (using KDE 4.2.4)
OS: Linux
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

I manage about 50 weekly recurrent events. This is like a class schedule (i'm teaching musical instruments). At the beginning of the year I create events for every pupil.
So the start date is for example 2008-09-01 13:30 and there is a weekly recurrence set for it.
The event is displayed right in korganizer until the day recurrence occurs.
On that day the event isn't displayed anymore in the day/week view.
If I switch to listview, I see that the start date is altered to today. Then the start date of that event is later than the end date. (Which normally is one the same day as the end date)

So the steps to reproduce this is as follows:

1. Create a event at 2009-05-01 from 13:00 to 14:00 with weekly recurrence.
2. Wait until the first recurrence will occur (or tweak the date)
3. The start date will be altered and the event isn't displayed in non-list views

I hope you did understand my description.
I mentioned this bug much earlier but didn't report it because I thought it was a packaging error of OpenSUSE or so.
But it still remains here and with this bug korganizer isnt useful for me.
I think it exists at a minimum since 4.2.0, maybe even longer.

Thanks

I think this is the same bug as this, isn't it?
