Version: (using KDE 4.2.96) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages Please add display of the last time a contact was seen online. This is good for weeding out old, invalid contacts. Skype has this feature and it is very useful. Thanks.
IMHO you can add this information to the tooltip contents: Bug 77920
I do not see haw that is possible, where is that option? Thanks!
Settings->Configure...->Contact list->Change Tooltip Contents...
Thank you Jan, even enabling that feature the appropriate entry in the tooltips is not being added. Is that a bug?
Which protocols did you try? It works for me with jabber and icq using 0.70.4 of KDE 4.2.4. And, just to make sure, you checked the contact's tooltip (jabber bulb, icq flower, ...) and not the metacontact's?
After switching the UI language to English and back to Hebrew, I do have the tooltip for Jabber and ICQ. I could not see it for Yahoo, MSN, or Skype contacts but it could be that they have not been online at all since installing this Kopete, so Kopete never got the chance to record them. I will close this bug if the feature exists for Yahoo, MSN, and Skype as well, I will try to test that soon. Thanks.
Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained. Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
