Version:           0.8.1 (using 4.2.2 (KDE 4.2.2), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler:          cc
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.28-13-generic

Pressing PrtSc (Print Screen) button opens ksnapshot over and over again. windows can be closed but there is no clear way to abort future openings. Hard restart became necessary when window opening overwhelmed processor capability. 

Hitting Print Screen once causes the program to open ad infinitum. What can I do?

Does this happen with some other application launcher? (check Input Actions in SystemSettings)

ksnapshot appears to be the only item in Input Actions. See screenshot. http://img210.imageshack.us/img210/6712/inputactions.png Thanks.
