Version: (using KDE 4.2.90) OS: Linux Installed from: Ubuntu Packages I have 4 virtual desktops and I configure the plasma pager widget in two columns: [1] [2] [3] [4] Some KDE4 versions ago, when I changed my desktop (cube effect) I saw all of them in horizontal, this is, changin from 1 to 2, from 2 to 3, from 3 to 4 or from 4 to 1 (and iverse order) showed an horizontal desktop transition. But from some recent upgrade, changing the virtual desktop is horizontal and vertical depending on the desktop transition: - 1 -> 2 : horizontal to the right - 2 -> 3 : horizontal to the left (1) and vertical down (3) - 3 -> 4 : horizontal to the right - 4 -> 1 : horizontal to the left (3) and vertical up (1) This is really an annoying visual effect which is making me crazy. A bad workaround is choosing just one line to show the desktops in the pager widget, but this takes too much space in the bar. Please, make it configurableor leave the previous and simpler effect. It was just perfect while the current behaviour is a visual pain.

Thanks, I've found the option in "Desktop Cue Animation" in "Desktop Effects" section. However, I suggest to dissable "Use pager layout for animation" by default. It's not a nice effect when managing more than 2 virtual desktops.
