Description ericaltendorf 2009-06-29 05:56:10 UTC
Version: 2.1.1 (using KDE 4.2.90)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

When playing a FLAC file, playback starts approximately 5 to 15 seconds in to the track. This happens when selecting a FLAC from the playlist and hitting "play", or when currently playing a track and hitting "next" or "previous", or when one track finishes and the next starts (it starts 5-15 seconds in).

The beginning of the track can be played if one slides the track position slider back to 0:00, so the whole file is there.

The FLACs are correct; they are old ones I ripped ages ago and have been playing successfully with other versions of Amarok for years.

The problem does NOT occur when playing MP3's; these start from 0:00.

This happens regardless of whether "Resume playback on start" is enabled or not. I have restarted Amarok and it still happens.

I am using Pulseaudio with Xine as the "backend".
