Version: 1.0.0-beta1 (rev.: /usr/bin/svnversion) (using 4.2.4 (KDE 4.2.4), volkerdi@slackware.com) Compiler: gcc OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.28.10 when importing photos from a camera they are not displayed in alphabetical order. It is not expected behaviour. In previous versions it was OK.
items have never sorted by name, but by date order. With beta2, you can choose chronological order : more recent in first, or more older in first Gilles Caulier
In my camera alphabetical and chronological order would mean the same and I guess that in most cameras this is also the case. Anyway it is good that there will be a choice. One question: When downloading photos with "older first" option set and trying to rename them during download would there be no problem? As far as I remember in 0.10.0 older photos were displayed first but renaming sequence was starting from the newest one. So it was kind of wired. I had to rename photos once again after downloading or not to rename during download and rename them afterwards. Andrzej
This problem is fixed in beta2 Gilles Caulier
It seems we will always sort photos chronologically for downloading. If we ever have ported this view to model/view, changing sorting will be easier.
