Version: (using KDE 4.2.4) OS: Linux Installed from: Ubuntu Packages Reduced testcase: http://www.gtalbot.org/BrowserBugsSection/Konqueror4Bugs/ppk-counter-test.html Expected results: a big and bold 3 is at the beginning of the tested paragraph. Actual results in Konqueror 4.2.4: a big and bold 2 is at the beginning of the tested paragraph. Konqueror seems unable to parse through and count inside the table element in the test. The testcase comes from the Peter-Paul Koch test at this page: http://www.quirksmode.org/css/beforeafter_content.html regards, Gérard
Bug 169634 [Counting nested tables with a counter] may be a particular case of this bug. regards, Gérard
Dear user, KHTML (and KJS) was a long time more or less unmaintained and got removed in KF6. Please migrate to use a QWebEngine based HTML component. We will do no further fixes or improvements to the KF5 branches of these components beside important security fixes. For security issues, please see: https://kde.org/info/security/ Sorry that we did not fix this issue during the life-time of KHTML. Greetings Christoph Cullmann
