When trying the provided testcase with Konqueror 4.3 under Linux, I still do not get the expected results.

regards, Gérard

Correct bug entry:
http://www.gtalbot.org/BrowserBugsSection/Konqueror4Bugs/#bug18

Testcase:
http://www.gtalbot.org/BrowserBugsSection/MSIE8Bugs/CountingNestedTables.html

Actual (live) results: "This webpage contains 0 nested tables."

Expected results: "This webpage contains 4 nested tables."

The testcase still fails in Konqueror 4.4.2, under Linux 2.6.31-19-generic, KDE platform 4.4.2, using Qt 4.6.2.

regards, Gérard

Dear user,

KHTML (and KJS) was a long time more or less unmaintained and got removed in KF6.

Please migrate to use a QWebEngine based HTML component.

We will do no further fixes or improvements to the KF5 branches of these components beside important security fixes.

For security issues, please see:

https://kde.org/info/security/

Sorry that we did not fix this issue during the life-time of KHTML.

Greetings
Christoph Cullmann
