There are many instances when its desirable to hide the folder list in kmail. (Eg. when its running inside kontact or when you're viewing emails in the 'wide' view mode). However, I still haven't been able to figure out how to do this. Kmail seems to lack a feature to do this.

My request is for a keyboard shortcut and menu option (in the view menu) to completely hide the folder list.
