Description Aneurin Price 2009-06-05 14:06:10 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.4)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

I watch a lot of fullscreen video so I disable compositing frequently, often several times per day. Every time I do so, my plasma panel grows (vertically - I have it taking up my full screen width) by a small amount (it looks like one pixel each time). After a while, the panel has grown enough that I need to unlock, carefully resize, and relock it.

This is fairly annoying so it would be good to know if anything can be done to prevent this.

This is probably related to bug 184905 / bug 186975

That does sound the same. I did check for existing reports but obviously didn't hit the right keywords. Hopefully with all these duplicate reports there will be enough of the relevant keywords used that eventually Bugzilla's search will be able to find them :P
