Version: 1.11.3 (using 4.2.3 (KDE 4.2.3) "release 1", KDE:42 / openSUSE_11.1) Compiler: gcc OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.27.21-0.1-default The way how E-Mails are printed is the same, how E-Mails are displayed on screen. This should be changed. There should be a own Printing-Template which all the needed information like: -Senders name -Senders E-mail address -both also for the receiver -Date and Time of the Mail -A list of attachments -..[add your own wish here] At the moment, the Mail is printed exactly like its displayed in the Message-Window. This makes Problems because the view depends on the art how headers are displayed: -Sometimes the senders Address isn't shown, only his name -Sometimes the date is shown as "Today, 4:00pm". The correct date can only be guessed which the Printing-Date on each printed Mail The HTML-Info-Boxes are also printed. On paper it isn't possible to load external Images or change plain HTML to user-readable HTML, so this can also be removed. I think the layout of a printed Mail should always be equal, no matter which user has printed it and which style on screen is used. Of course, all the things can be done, when the user changes his Header-View and the settings, how dates are displayed. But it shouldn't be necessary to change all the Kmail-Settings to get a usable printed Mail.
