Version: (using KDE 4.2.2) Compiler: gcc version 4.3.2 (Debian 4.3.2-1) OS: Linux Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages It looks like some configuration problem, I just don't understand where to look at. 1. Konqueror does not open new URL when I am clicking on it with middle button. 2. "Middle button closes tab" does not work either. 3. Paste with middle button into form fields does not work either. 4. Other KDE applications work as expected. 5. Konqueror launched from another user (via su - another_user; export DISPLAY=:0; konqueror) in the same KDE/X session works with middle button normally. I looked through all setting and through many files in .kde directory, but didn't find anything suspicious. This behavior greatly irritates me, because I used middle button for last 12 years without such a problem before. I don't know when it started, because for some time I used GNOME and then switched back to KDE.
Thanks for the bug report! Could you check if you can make the middle mouse button work again by opening the system settings, clicking "Input Actions" in the "Computer Administration" category and disabling "Konqueror Gestures"? In this case, it's a duplicate of bug 189761.
