Version: (using KDE 4.2.3) Compiler: gcc 4.3.3 and 4.1.2 OS: Linux Installed from: Gentoo Packages Kmail 1.11.3 (as shipped with 4.2.3) has a problem with reply/reply to all option. For mails sitting in "Inbox" folder, the options to answer are disabled, as kmail thinks that there are "sent" mail and not "received". In fact, "send again" is active instead. 4.2.2 was working fine. If the same mail is moved to another folder, all works fine and I'm able to use "reply" option. This happens both in local and disconnected imap folders, but one thing is weird: when on the same folder list appears more than one "inbox" folder (say, for different inbound accounts) only the first account inbox folder is affected. Tested on two different machines, both with gentoo, with different GCC versions (4.3.3 and 4.1.2) I'm available for more details if needed Thanks.
I've also been struck by this regression after upgrading from KDE 4.2.2 to 4.2.3 on Exherbo. (Before anyone asks: No, Exherbo doesn't use Gentoo's KDE packages.) FWIW, Kmail was compiled with GCC 4.3.3 against Qt 4.5.1.

On Mandriva 2009.1 under KDE 4.2.2, and KMail 1.11.2 i have a similar problem. This problem somehow may have something to do with Unicode and Locale also, because when i changed name of one of the mail folder to Hindi name (though i am using english locale for kde), and utf-8 charset in KMail, the problem went away for that particular foler, but resurfaced when i made some other configuration changes to kmail. So for me, right now for some mail folder only Reply-to-All button is grayed out while for some it is not.
