The KDE 3 System Monitor had many options and could be configured as per the user's needs. The current KDE 4 System Monitor has zero options and cannot be configured to the user's needs. Please add these abilities to each System Monitor plasmoid:
1) Graphs of measured value vs. time.
2) Range limits
3) Y-axis markers
4) Colour configuration

Affected plasmoids include:
1) Temperature
2) Network
3) Hard Disk
4) CPU

Some of the plasmoids already support some of the features, but they are all grouped here in this bug to prevent all possible permutations of the features and the plasmoids. See also this related bug which would simplify such feature requests in the future:

System monitor configuration is going to remain simple but if you need more configuration options check if these help:
