Description troysims72 2009-04-30 03:32:45 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

The backend took too much time to process the synchronous request - you need to fork!

This occurred during an update using the KDE Control Module.

Please, could you exactly explain what you were doing?
Comment 2 Dario Andres 2009-04-30 14:37:17 UTC
Seems to be an error in PackageKit (which is integrated into SystemSettings on Kubuntu). But I don't know if it is related to the backend and core libs or the KDE implementation. I can't reassign to KPackagekit (b.k.o error)

Here it is an Ubuntu report: https://bugs.launchpad.net/packagekit/+bug/272410
