Version: Kde 4.2.2 (using KDE 4.2.2) OS: Linux Installed from: Ubuntu Packages System: Kubuntu 9.04 (kde 4.2.2 & QT 4.5.0) Bug Procedure: Changing settings in: System Settings --> Advanced --> Desktop Theme Details And Choosing different sources for the Analog Clock or for the Panel Background (for example...) and then click in the Apply button does not refresh the widgets theme. So for refreshing it's necessary to remove the widget and add it again.

What is your Theme selected in the Plasma Settings dialog ? (rightclick on Desktop, select "Desktop Settings"). When you customize your theme, a new theme is created called "Customized"; and that should be selected in order to apply the new styles. This looks related to bug 182823 / bug 202591 . Can you check them ? Thanks
I have "re-check" this bug in Kde 4.3.0 and the same ocurrs: Procedure: 1) Select Customized theme in Desktop Settings 2) A change is made over the Customized theme in Desktop Theme Details, for example changing the clock theme (to Oxygen or Air, or anyone) 3) The change does not apply 4) The Theme previously selected (Customized) gets deselected in Desktop Settings 5) To have effect the change it's needed to re-select the customized theme in Desktop Settings
