Version: (using KDE 4.2.2) OS: Linux Installed from: SuSE RPMs Steps to reproduce: 1. Add the picture frame plasma widget to the desktop. 2. Configure the widget to work in diaporama mode. 3. Select two pictures, one in portrait format and one in landscape mode. 4. Set the change time to 1 minute. 5. Close the config panel. 6. Move the widget to the bottom-left screen edge, so that the picture fits in the edge. 7. Wait for 1 minute until the picture changes. Actual result: When the picture changes, the frame size/orientation changes automatically, which makes it no more aligned with the edge. Expected result: The frame size doesn't change, only the picture's size gets adjusted More information: It would be nice to have options about the frame's behavior according to the widget size. For example, being able to restrict the frame size inside a given boundary. This way the frame itself could resize itself inside this boundary to match the picture size. Not sure whether this improvement must be done on the widget or on plasma itself.
I was able to reproduce using kde 4.3.4.

Can you reproduce using KDE 4.4.4 or 4.5beta?
> Can you reproduce using KDE 4.4.4 or 4.5beta? Yes, in 4.4.4 As a supplement, I realized that the plasmoïd is indeed aligned. It uses the top left corner leading to problems when positioned anywhere else but on the top left part of the screen. Examples of positions on screen: - Top left, the pictures are always on screen. - Top right, right hand side disappears off screen when larger pictures are displayed. - Bottom right, right hand side and lower part disappear. - Bottom left, lower part disappears.
