Version: (using KDE 4.2.2) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages Although I have the appropriate option selected in the Konqueror options, middle clicking a tab is not closing it.
Got the same problem here since installing KDE 4.2.2 on Arch Linux with Qt 4.5 I even opened thread about this problem: http://forum.kde.org/konqueror-weird-middle-mouse-button-problem-t-43333.html Seems like this is actually a bug and not a misconfigurated file, as https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=190552 shows the same problems I'll open a separate Bug report about this issue
Most likely a duplicate of bug 189761 (just like bug 190552).
I also think that this may be a dupe of bug 189761, but I will wait until that bug is resolved to retriage this one and then decide whether or not to close it as a dupe. Although the symptoms are similar, the fix may be different and fixing 189761 will not necessarily fix this issue. Thanks.
As it turns out, this bug is _not_ a dupe of bug 189761. The root cause of that bug was found, and fixing it does not solve this issue.

I can close a tab using the middle mouse button in Konqueror 4.2.96. Is this bug still happening to anyone else?
