Description Peter Somogyi 2009-04-22 19:17:08 UTC
Version: 4.1.3 (KDE 4.1.3) "release 4.9" (using 4.1.3 (KDE 4.1.3) "release 4.9", openSUSE 11.1)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.27.19-3.2-pae

When I leave the cursor over a link text, a tooltip appears repeating(!) the link text.
That tooltip:
- doesn't disappear when I just move the mouse away and stop moving the mouse
(probably it's message queue based and when it doesn't get any event, it won't timeout)
- needless (shows redundant info) and really annoying after some time (hiding valuable section)
- can't be switched off... (in kde4, I already switched off every tooltips)

Comment 1 Peter Somogyi 2009-04-22 21:02:42 UTC
Now updated my konqeror to 4.2.70 release 1.3, and now tooltips disappear correctly after a some time.
However, they're still annoying and can't be switched off.

pino fixed tooltips, see
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=175063

I'll change this BR level to wishlist.
