Installed from:    SuSE RPMs

My usual method when updating kde versions was to backup ~/.kde4/share/apps/knotes and ~/.kde4/share/config/knotesrc, then remove ~/.kde4, upgrade kde, restore the beckup, and the run the new version of kde. This worked well, even when upgrading from kde 3.5 to kde 4.1, but when I upgrade from kde 4.2.1 to kde 4.2.2, all my notes were lost! Sadly, this time I made no permanent backup :(
